Vega Braille is our patented solution - EP182063 - for the Braille embossing of boxes, especially pharmaceuticals.
Since its release, Vega Braille has been used in many sectors: we have equipped its folder gluer with a transport module for the single box which, after the powering and straightening phase, uses two rotating pulleys to perform Braille embossing on the chosen layer of the box: the VegaBraille.
The two opposing pulleys bear the universal female and the male of the Braille writing in relief. The writing standard is Marburg Medium, the most used in Europe.
The execution process of the gluing machine for the embossing of the folders takes only a few minutes because the connection of the two pulleys and the longitudinal positioning of the inscription is done by computer.
The system also allows you to increase the embossing pressure to vary the height of the embossed stitch based on the weight and fiber of the cardboard.
This module has evolved so much over time to enable production, flexibility and embossing quality of the highest level.
