A SUCCESS TO SHARE
The history of Vega is intertwined with that of the Nava family, which today has come to host its third generation in the company. It all began in 1947 in Cusano Milanino when Mario Nava founded the Mario Nava graphic workshops, abandoning his original job of repairing and maintaining machines to devote himself to the design and construction of machines for the folding carton factory, in particular folder gluers.
In 1960 his son Giorgio Nava joined the company and worked actively alongside his father, also dealing with accounting; together they expand the company by moving to Cusano Milanino and becoming Vega. From that moment, Vega started to conquer the market all over the world by improving production together with technological progress.
The success achieved led the company to expand further and to settle in the current system.
Subsequently, Jacopo Nava joined the family business alongside his father Giorgio Nava since tender age. His studies go hand in hand with his work in Vega, doing internships in all departments, in order to obtain a thorough knowledge of the entire production cycle of the company.
At the age of majority he joined the Vega board of directors as CEO, where his father and his partners are also present, becoming first CEO, then president of Vega in 2019.
